We are a small operation where you and your family or a group of friends might be the only ones on this sixteen acre waterfront property during your entire stay.<\/p><p>Our goal is to offer you clean, safe, secure (gated property), and comfortable accommodations so you can enjoy your time here on the lake. Rooster) who is the name sake for the \u201cRooster\u2019s Roost\u201d facility. Nathan attended LSU\/Baton Rouge and finished his BSN degree in May 2013 at the LSU Health Sciences Center, School of Nursing in New Orleans. Nathan worked as an RN in the ER and ICU at West Jeff Hospital in New Orleans. He married a New Orleans girl, Lauren, in September of 2019 she is also a nurse. Both Nathan and Lauren have been working as Traveling Nurses for the past couple of years. Our second born is Jason (a.k.a. Bird), the name sake for the \u201cBird\u2019s Nest\u201d Cabin. Jason also attended LSU\/Baton Rouge and the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans; he graduated in December of 2013 with a BSN degree. After working as an ER Nurse for a few years Jason returned to LSU to get his Doctorate in Nursing Practice and graduated in May of 2019. Jason is a Captain in the U.S. Army serving as a Nurse Practioner stationed in San Antonio, TX. Jason married a girl from Alabama (I know but we still love her) in November of 2019 who is also a Nurse Practioner. We are now waiting for some grandchildren hopefully in the near future.<\/p><p>As you can see, both young men are interested in the health care industry\u00a0and hopefully will take care of Mom and Dad in our retirement.\u00a0 When they are here visiting you might be\u00a0lucky enough to catch\u00a0a glimpse of Nathan or Jason and their wives,\u00a0they will either have a fishing pole in hand (heading to their favorite fishing hole) or\u00a0on their way to the swimming
